At the heart of every great neighbourhood is a sense of connection — people coming together, supporting one another, and creating a place where everyone feels at home. These moments truly define a suburb’s character, whether lending a hand at a local event, cheering on a community sports team, or helping a neighbour in need.

Across Brisbane, we see this sense of community come to life every day. From weekend markets at West End and Kelvin Grove to local park runs along the river or neighbours banding together during storm season to help clean up, a real spirit of mateship shines through. Even the simple things, like supporting small cafés, attending school fetes, or joining charity events such as the Bridge to Brisbane, remind us how much stronger we are when we show up for each other.

One cause especially close to our hearts is Support the Girls, a not-for-profit organization that provides bras, underwear, and essential hygiene products to women and girls experiencing hardship. We’re proud to act as a collection point for donations and personally deliver them to the Gold Coast to help make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

The response from our Ascot community has been nothing short of incredible. Our community has repeatedly answered the call, dropping off bags filled with new and pre-loved bras, toiletries, and hygiene essentials. It’s been heartwarming to see families, schools, and local businesses come together to contribute. This generosity reflects exactly what makes Ascot so special: a genuine sense of compassion, connection, and care for others.

We’re also proud to support Rosies, Friends on the Street, an organization that offers friendship and assistance to people who are homeless or at risk. Through food, drink, and, most importantly, conversation, Rosies brings warmth and dignity to those doing it tough. Our team regularly collects donations to support their outreach efforts, and once again, our community has shown immense kindness, proving that small gestures make a big difference. We are receiving donations of cordial, biscuits, noodles, muesli bars and Milo at our office anytime.  If you’d like to contribute, please drop by to donate.

We’re proud to be more than just real estate professionals; we’re active members of the community we serve. From supporting local initiatives like Support the Girls and Rosies to getting involved in events that bring people closer, we’re committed to helping our neighbourhood thrive.
